Ling Hai will succeed Sachin Mehra who will move into the newly created role of chief business officer as the payments giant reshuffles its senior leadership team to strengthen customer focus and execution.
Mastercard named Ling Hai as chief financial officer on Tuesday, succeeding Sachin Mehra, who will move into the newly created role of chief business officer as the payments giant reshuffles its senior leadership team.
The changes, effective August 3, are part of a broader management reorganization aimed at strengthening customer focus and execution across the company.
Ling Hai brings extensive international operating experience and has led Mastercard's business across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Mehra, who has served as CFO earlier, will move into the newly created role of chief business officer, overseeing global country operations as well as sales enablement, partnerships and digital commercialization, Mastercard said.
